Your hold is ready! (1.30.26)
Hi everyone. It’s been a month.
In lieu of a January update from me, I’d like to use this space to share some ways to help our comrades in Minneapolis and beyond fight fascism.
Fundraiser whose goal has not been reached for Adelina Olivarez Cardona, a woman detained by ICE.
Support the work of a Minneapolis community member delivering groceries to immigrant families.
Help a Minneapolis community member targeted by ICE make rent (very close to its goal!!)
Fundraiser for personal needs and legal fees to bring Viviana’s dad home from ICE custody.
Beyond those I have just highlighted, check out Stand with Minnesota for a comprehensive list of ways to help those in MN.
Send me a donation receipt (any amount) for any of the above linked places (or one local to you) and I’ll send you a PDF of Failure to Comply for free. And remember, the only good ICE officer is a…. well, you know.
Housekeeping:
If you want to read about transMad queercrip nonsense as aesthetic and praxis, check out Differential Diagnosis, which is now available for pre-order on Northwestern University Press’s website and on Bookshop. Be sure to request it from your favorite indie bookstore, add it on Goodreads and Storygraph, and email me if you’re interested in a review copy.
Also: manywor(l)ds closes for submissions on 1/31.
