Your hold is ready! (4.11.22.)
Hello all! I’ve been busy promoting my new chapbook (order here) and guesting at Fifth Wheel Press and beestung magazine –– in addition to all the other little projects I pick up along the way! This month, I’m feeling especially jazzed about the nexus –– or, I guess, the obliteration –– of this space “between” the academic and the creative. Since chairing my first NeMLA panel in mid-March and speaking to others who aren’t fond of binaries in life / writing (writing / life ?) I’m re-enthused to propose more workshops, more papers, more amazing events to be in community with people whose work doesn’t fit anywhere neatly. This spring, I’m looking forward to making even more connections with neuro/queercrip/transMad creators –– if that’s you, feel free to reach out!
Also: sure to check out swallow::tale press, a Mad press for Mad manuscripts, co-run by myself and my co-conspirator and fellow Mad creator, Feyxuan. Browse our bookstore and be in touch with questions and suggestions!
Okay, now to the (other) recommendations.
